Welcome back!

Today I’ll be sharing with you my favorite ways to add a pop of color to jazz up any neutral spring or summer looks! With each of these examples, I’m not showing them in conjunction with a full eyeshadow look, just by themselves, so keep that in mind.

#1  – Bright Lips

For me, spring is all about bright colors. An easy and wearable way to incorporate a bright color into your look is on your lips. Obviously, the wearable factor will depend on what you deem as wearable and what colors you choose. I chose Maybelline’s Color Blur in “Orange Ya Glad” (Totally wearable to me, I’ve worn this to church), and Nyx Liquid Suede* in “Pink Lust” (Definitely a shockingly bright color on me).bright lips collage.jpg If you want more recommendations for spring/summer lip products, check out my post here!

#2 – Waterline

A great way to add a color to an otherwise neutral eye look is by using a colored liner in your waterline. This is much more of a subtle way to use color, so if bright lips aren’t your thing, this is for you.

I love pairing this technique with very subtle eye looks, because it really makes it much more interesting. Using blue in the waterline makes the whites of your eyes appear whiter, but any color looks awesome used this way. For this, I used the Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil in “Tu-Tu Turquoise“*.

#3 – Statement Inner Corner

This is one of my favorite ways to jazz up a neutral eye look. Any color imaginable looks great used this way, but I typically go for either highly shimmery foiled shadows or matte neon shades, it’s totally up to you what you add here. This is one of the more bold choices in this list, but definitely a favorite of mine.

#4 – Colored Winged Liner

This is by far the most subtle out of all of these options. Either use a colored liquid liner, or a cream eyeshadow and top it with a coordinating shadow and you’re good to go!

And that’ll be it for today’s post! I hope you’ve enjoyed this, and learned some fun ways to incorporate color into your looks!

As always,

thanks for stopping by!
