Welcome back!

Today I’ll be taking part in a tag I’ve seen floating around, talking about all of the beauty products that Emilynoel83 on YouTube has convinced me to buy. If you’re not familiar, Emily is a beauty vlogger on YouTube with absolutely incredible content, and she is by far my favorite to watch. If you’ve never watched any of her videos, definitely check out her channel. Now, let’s get into all of the products Emily made me buy!

#1 – Hard Candy Sheer Envy Hydrating Primer Mist

Emily has raved about this for the past several months and I absolutely agree with everything she said about it. I use this as a setting spray after my makeup is finished and it really helps settle powders and add a subtle luminosity to my skin. Definitely recommend, it’s become my absolute favorite setting spray.

#2 – Bare Minerals Gen Nude Liquid Lipstick in “Boss”.*

These liquid lipsticks earned a spot in the 2016 Emily Awards For Lips for good reason, they’re very pigmented and easily the most comfortable liquid lipstick I’ve ever worn. I absolutely adore this lipstick and plan on buying more, this totally deserved it’s spot in the Emily Awards.

#3 – L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in “Golden Emerald”.

I saw Emily use this in a video and just had to have it. This is an emerald green eyeshadow with golden shimmers, and it’s by far my favorite green shadow I own. This one just screams Christmas to me, so I tend to use it a lot around the holidays. If you’ve never tried the Infallible shadows, they’re a pressed pigment so they’re super pigmented and intense. I really love all of the Infallible shadows I have, but this one is definitely my favorite and I probably never would have picked it up if it wasn’t for her using it.

#4 – Bite Matte Creme Lip Crayons*.

Okay, this one is kind of cheating because I didn’t actually buy this. My best friend gave these to me as a gift after she saw Emily rave about them, and I’m really glad she did. These are some of the best matte lip colors I’ve ever worn. Matte, but not uncomfortable with crazy pigmentation. If you’ve never tried these, strongly recommend.

#5 – Lorac Unzipped Palette

Lorac Unzipped.jpg ($42)

I’ve heard Emily talk about this palette for several years and recently in her video about the Ulta 21 Days Of Beauty sale. This palette was marked down to $21 from $42 for Platinum members, and after hearing Emily say this palette was holy grail status for her, I jumped on it immediately, and I’m not regretting that decision whatsoever!

#6 – Elf Moisturizing Stick Foundation*

elf moisturizing foundation ($6)

Emily has references this product in tons of videos, and basically anything that claims to be moisturizing I need in my beauty collection because of my very dry skin. This foundation looks natural with beautiful coverage. Elf’s website is no longer carrying this, but it’s still on Ulta’s website. If you’ve tried stick foundations in the past and been disappointed, give this one a try while you can still get your hands on it!

#7 – Hard Candy Velvet Matte Mousse

HC VM ($8)

I think these came out last Spring/Summer and I absolutely love the formula! Emily talked about liking these in a video and I’m so glad I picked them up per her recommendation. These are liquid lipsticks, but not your average very dry matte. They’re  incredibly comfortable and come in this super cute tin. Definitely worth the $6 investment!

#6 – The Balm Manizer Sister Trio

Emily did a video on this and a few other like products around Christmas time, saying that she really enjoyed this, so when it came up as an Ipsy offer for only $12 I snagged it asap! This palette has your iconic highlights from TheBalm. Mary-Lou, a true champagne highlight. Cindy-Lou, a pinky highlight or blush depending on your skintone. And Betty-Lou, a bronzer or highlight if you have deep skin. This is a great way to try these cult classics. Currently still available at TheBalm.com for $28.

#7 – Rimmel ScandalEyes in “Nude”.

Rimmel ScandalEyes.jpg ($4)

Emily used to rave about using this in her waterline to really wake your eyes up, and I still use and love this. This shade is ever too slightly too dark for me to be a true nude liner, but I still get a great wide-awake effect from using this.

#8 – Elf Complexion Brush*

Elf Complexion Brush ($4)

If you’ve ever watched one of Emily’s Get Ready With Me or tutorial videos, chances are she’s using this for a contour or bronzer brush. I purchased this brush solely on her recommendation and I really love it. It’s great to apply bronzer with, but I also use it for face powder or anything else I may need. It’s a fantastic multitasking brush and I’m very happy I have it.

#9 – It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara *

I normally love every mascara Emily recommends, but this is one that actually didn’t work for me. It makes my lashes look incredible, but flakes and smudges pretty badly on me. Not a huge fan.

#10 – Nyx Tinted Brow Mascara*

nyx brow mascara ($7)

After hearing Emily mention this, I picked it up and was totally blown away! Very quickly became my favorite brow gel. Adds a great tint and helps fill in sparse areas while looking natural. Total favorite, and super affordable!

And that’ll do it for today’s post! I hope you’ve enjoyed it, and if you did, please subscribe to receive email notifications of my future posts. Please take a moment to subscribe to Emily, I really feel like she taught me everything I know about makeup through her videos, and you won’t regret watching her too!

As always,

thanks for stopping by!
